Pre-Care Instructions for Semi Permanent Procedures

Pre-Care Instructions for Semi Permanent Procedures

To ensure the best results for your semi permanent procedure, please follow these pre-care instructions carefully. Proper preparation helps achieve beautiful, long-lasting brows!

One Week Before Your Appointment:

  • Avoid excessive sun exposure and tanning beds. Sunburned skin is not ideal for the procedure.
  • Stop using retinol, glycolic acid, or any exfoliating skincare products near your brows.
  • Refrain from waxing, threading, or tweezing your brows. Let them grow naturally so your artist can shape

24 Hours Before Your Appointment:

  • Avoid alcohol and caffeine, as they can cause excess bleeding and affect pigment retention.
  • Wash your hair before you come so you don’t need to wet the brows for one week after procedure
  • Discontinue use of any blood-thinning supplements like fish oil, vitamin E, advil or aspirin (As per doctor’s approval). Tylenol is ok.

On the Day of Your Appointment:

  • Avoid heavy workouts or excessive sweating, as open pores can interfere with the procedure.
  • Arrive with a clean face—no makeup, lotions, or creams on your brows. Remove eyelash extension if doing eyeliner or lash line enhancement.
  • Eat a light meal beforehand to avoid feeling lightheaded during the procedure.
  • If you have any medical conditions, please inform your artist before your appointment.

Additional Instructions for Lip Blush:

  • Hydrate as much as possible.
  • Exfoliate lips daily with a sugar scrub.
  • Keep your lips moisturized 24 hours a day with a generous layer of Vaseline.
  • If you have ever had a cold sore, please obtain a prescription for treatment (Permanent makeup on the lip area can possibly trigger a localized break out of the herpes virus if you had previous breakouts, so the prescription is required)
