Post-Care Instructions for Semi-Permanent Brows
Post-Care Instructions for Semi-Permanent Brows
Congratulations on your new brows! To help your brows heal properly and maintain their beautiful shape, please follow these aftercare instructions closely.

days 1-7
Day 1:
One hour after appointment, wipe the eyebrows with a clean cotton pad that has been dampened with cold water and apply thin layer of ointment. Repeat every 3 hours on the first day. If not sleeping on your back, apply a serum wrap on eyebrows before bed.
Day 2-7:
Repeat wiping the brows with cold water and ointment once a day. (during that time no makeup, creams or water on or around the brow and no pulling on the scabs).
First 7 days:
❌ Do not get your eyebrows wet while they’re healing. Avoid long, hot showers and intense exercise where you sweat.
❌ Do not Touch brows with dirty hands. Do NOT pick, scratch, or rub the brow area.
❌ Avoid sleeping on your face or eyebrow area. Ensure your pillowcases are clean during your eyebrow healing process
First 14 days:
❌ Do not apply make up or any cosmetics on or near the brows until fully healed
❌ Avoid using any retinol, glycolic acid, or harsh exfoliants near your brows
❌ Avoid direct sunlight and tanning beds
What to Expect/ What is normal:
Days 1-5:
Brows will appear darker and thicker. Scabbing forms over the strokes to protect the area while healing.
Days 5-9:
As the scabs start coming off, they may appear patchy (be patient, it’s just a few days, the ointment will help with the flaking and itching).
Day 9-12:
The pigment under may look light or milky due to a thin layer of scar tissue. This is completely normal.
Days 12-21:
The pigment will “come back” once the thin layer of scar tissue heals. The brows will appear darker.

When to Contact Your Artist:
If you notice any signs of infection (redness, swelling, pus), please contact your artist immediately. Mild redness and swelling are normal for the first 24-48 hours, but if they persist, seek medical advice.
