FOUR GENERATIONS OF BROW ARTISTS
Irit Gutman is the founder of Beautique in Vaughan, Canada, and she proudly carries on a family tradition that began over four generations ago. She learned the art of threading from her mother at just six years old, and ever since, it has been an essential part of her life. Her great-grandmother, in Uzbekistan, would thread and shape the brows of brides and their families before weddings. During these ceremonies, the bride’s loved ones would hold her head, bless her for the upcoming marriage, and celebrate with music and joy—all while creating beautiful brows. This tradition was passed down through the generations, from her great-grandmother to her grandmother, then her mother, and now to Irit.
At Beautique, we honor this legacy by offering expert brow services, including threading, tinting, and permanent makeup. Our goal is to help clients achieve the perfect brows they’ve always dreamed of, whether they seek subtle definition or a complete transformation. For us, it’s not just about beauty—it’s about preserving tradition, embracing passion, and bringing timeless artistry into the modern world.
